Sloan Engineering Services, LLC (SES) is a dynamic and fast-moving Civil Engineering consulting business operating out of Gillette, WY.  The Principal Engineer is Charles (C.J.) James Sloan, P.E. (Registered in the States of Wyoming and South Dakota). We have been in business since January of 2017 and have grown each and every year since then to have a great stable of new and repeat clientele.

We strive to put out the best possible work at fair and competitive prices.  We have many years of experience in drainage design and fixing existing drainage issues on residential or commercial lots.  We are also well-versed in all other aspects of land development from the initial platting process through final completion of site infrastructure.  The main goal of SES is to provide extremely fast turn-around times for small to medium-sized local projects in order to allow you to get about the business of building your project as soon as possible.

The following is a partial list of services that we provide:

  • Soils Reports (for submittal to Campbell County or City of Gillette) - does not require lab testing

  • Foundation Design (Residential, Commercial, and Industrial)

  • Open Hole Inspections (both pre- and post-design)

  • Water System design, Sanitary Sewer System design, and Storm Drainage System design.

  • Plot Plans for residential lots for both the City of Gillette and Campbell County

  • Residential House Plans

  • Construction Observation (on a time and materials basis)

  • Commercial Site Plans

  • Development Plans (for larger lots consisting of multiple buildings or a single building that is 25,000 square feet in size or larger)

  • Roadway Design (based on survey data and Geotechnical Report recommendations)

  • New Drainage Design

  • Existing Drainage Issue Mitigation

  • Overlot Grading Plans

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)

  • Project Cost Estimating
